The short version: we collect almost nothing, we track nothing, and we never sell or share your data. The long version is below — written in plain English, because you should actually be able to read it.
UsefulIndicators (usefulindicators.com) builds and sells indicators, add-ons, and tools for NinjaTrader 8. We are based in Norway. For anything related to your data, email [email protected] — a real person reads it and replies.
We run no tracking cookies and no ad trackers. No Google Analytics, no Facebook pixel, no fingerprinting. We genuinely don't know who you are when you browse here, and we like it that way.
Three technical notes for completeness:
?src=youtube. We count how many people arrived with each tag, so we know which posts are worth making again. That's the whole of it: a running total per tag, per day. No cookie is set, nothing is stored about you, and a visit without a tag sends nothing at all.Checkout is handled by Creem, our payment provider and merchant of record. They process your payment details — we never see your card number. What we receive is your name, email address, and what you bought. We use that to deliver your product, send you free updates, and help you if something breaks. See Creem's privacy notice.
We keep purchase records for as long as we support the product (updates are free forever, so we need to know who to send them to) and as long as bookkeeping law requires.
Two kinds, and you control both.
Emails are delivered through Resend, a US email service, which processes your address and the message in order to deliver it. See Resend's privacy policy. We do not sell or share your address, and we do not put tracking pixels in our emails.
Forms on this site (the "notify me at launch" box and the custom-build quote form) are delivered by Formspree, a US form service, straight to our inbox. We use what you send to do the thing you asked for — notify you once, or answer your quote request. You will not be added to any marketing list. See Formspree's privacy policy.
We keep support conversations so we have context if you write again. If you want a conversation deleted, say so and it's gone.
Our products run entirely inside NinjaTrader 8 on your machine. They do not phone home, do not collect telemetry, and have no access to your trading account, positions, or P&L from our side. The one exception is functional: tools that display external data (for example, news events) fetch that data from its source — they send nothing about you anywhere.
That's the complete list. Fonts, styling, and scripts are served from our own site — your visit here is not reported to Google or anyone else.
Under the GDPR you can ask us at any time to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email [email protected] and we'll handle it within 30 days — usually much faster, since for most visitors the answer is "we hold nothing." If you believe we've mishandled your data, you have the right to complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet) or your local supervisory authority.
If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with an updated date. We won't quietly weaken it.
