The initial balance — the high and low set in the first part of the session — is one of the oldest, most-watched reference ranges in futures. It's where the day's first auction happens, and the rest of the session tends to trade around it.
Live IB Range plots that high and low as they form, live, and extends them across the session — with a midpoint, zone overlays, custom extensions and a live stats box.
A break and hold above the IB high signals an upward day-type; a break of the IB low signals the opposite. Price rotating inside the range is balance — wait for the break. The midpoint is the session pivot.
The extensions project where price tends to reach once the range breaks, and the live box tells you how wide this IB is against recent bars — a quick read on whether the open is trending or chopping — plus how much time is left in the window.
Most IB tools draw a static box after the window closes, and most only know the US open. We wanted it live — the range building in real time — and we wanted it to work for any session: US, London, Tokyo or Sydney, each one following daylight-saving on both the session's side and your chart's, so the window is always right no matter where you trade from.

Session window — Pick a session preset or set your own IB duration in minutes, choose how many past sessions to show, and style the previous-day IBs.
IB lines — Show the High, Low and Mid lines, each with its own color, opacity, width and style, plus a separate look once the IB window closes.
Zones — Shade the IB zone and an extended zone, each with its own color and opacity.
Extensions — Project as many custom levels as you want, entered as a comma-separated list of percentages of the IB range — decimals included, so Fibonacci ratios work.
Labels — Name and price, at either end of the line or both, sitting above, on, or below it — with your own font, size and optional background box.
